My Story

Hello everyone! My name is Charlotte Vandenbroucke. I started collecting Pokémon cards in 2008, so I knew, like many of you, the playground where Pokémon cards were traded and sometimes even forbidden.

And what we can say is that at that time many of us did not take care of their binders, the cards often saw gravel, not very clean hands and very delicate handling.

Some of mine were stolen, damaged, and even lost. After the release of the ev3.5 block series in September 2023, I started to dive back into collecting. I found part of my collection from when I was little at my parents' house and I didn't resist long to make myself a binder again.

Then I bought single cards whether in Japanese or French, and one day after buying a card a friend damaged it while trying to restore it, it was the card of my dreams. I was extremely sad and helpless, I didn't know who to turn to or if there really was a solution?

Card restoration services are often expensive so I decided to do it myself. It was an opportunity to open a door never before explored. From a damaged card was born a desire, to improve it to try to find its initial state, preserve the emotion it contains. Every good Pokémon card collector has a card he thinks of when he is told the word "collection", emotions attached to it.

Today I restore the cards of my collection, those of my friends and that's why I created Fix My Card, the goal being to take care of your collection cards, and thus preserve these emotions which are so dear to us, those for which we continue to be passionate.
